Who cares about the men? The guys cropped out of this particular photo are the President of the United States and Prince William of Wales.
The main attraction was the first meeting of two women we love to read about: Michelle Obama and HRH Princess William/Duchess of Cambridge/hope of the royal family/Kate.
Shimmering FLOTUS in brocade with a metallic bolero (daytime will never be the same again) and the more trad princess in a dress that crashed the store’s website.
A couple of Capricorns, I’m betting the gals got along just fine.

The Duchess looks great but MO could do better!
Agree — and luckily MO knocked it out of the fashion park for both state dinners! All there in black and white, for the world to see.
Both look gorgeous
I’m thinking that whoever invented the “bandage dress” doesn’t like women. It only looks good on the painfully thin, like our itty-bitty Duchess here.
