The Red Lace Review — Duchess Catherine and other princesses
A lot of red. A lot of lace. Not much Duchess. Photo: Tanna Stewart/Daily Mail.
Is Duchess Catherine rocking the red lace? I’m not loving it. Is it the matchy hat? The dark shoes? I’ll only whisper this, but she looks a bit c-h-e-a-p.
Is red lace just hard to wear? I remembered this gown of Princess Diana’s:

Diana also had a red lace cocktail number, lined in red:

Grace Kelly, in her pre-Princess days, wore red lace for Hitchcock in Dial M for Murder:
Hitchcock chose this red lace dress to express the character's less than virtuous life.

Two blondes, two brunettes. Two evening gowns, three cocktail dresses. Who’s your favorite Princess in Red?
